Story: David grew up as the only son of two nuclear physicists who could spare little time for anything outside their jobs, let alone their boy. When David's abilities manifested themselves in his early teens, he was marked by his parent's lack of affection, and projecting his anguish into them, he punished them by killing them. David's newfound status as a criminal was a game to him, and he began killing people simply for the fun of it [5].

Later, David was apprehended by Youngblood and given extensive psychological treatment. As this gave no result, he was given a psychic damper to limit his abilities, which stabilized him for a while. At this point he was admitted into the Youngblood program [5].

After a fight with Blackthorn in Berlin he was injured [4]. The battle had paralyzed PSI-fire and for a while he was confined to the Youngblood Headquarter, where he planned his escape. He escaped by transferring his conscience to a female technician [2]. Apparently the injuries took the rest of his sanity and he kept killing or trying to kill everybody in sight until he was beaten by Masada [3].

When Battlestone came back on Youngblood, he started looking into what had happened to PSI-fire. Together with Sith, a creature left behind by the Keep a worldwide hate was launched making everybody fight and hate each other ["Hate" storyline]. MaxiMage was able to keep her cool and follow the emanations of hate to their origin, after which she defeated Sith and took PSI-fire back to Youngblood headquarters [1]

Skills & abilities: High-level telepathic, telekinetic and pyrokinetic. Using a psychic damper limits his powers to telekinesis and pyrokinesis and only at half strength [5].
