Background notes: Like Ferd'nand, Alfredo had to have a wife and family. Unlike Ferd'nand however, Alfredo was not a happily married man. The wife of Alfredo was never given a name as Alfredo was a pantomime series, but her identity was never in doubt. Fat, grumpy, loud and nagging (most of it with good reason) she was the perfect opposite to the slim babes which Alfredo was chasing all the time, and she was actually rather good at finding Alfredo.
