Background notes: Dino first appeared in the intro to the first episode of The Flintstones, so officially that was the first appearance of Dino. It was however not until episode 18, The Snorkasaurus Hunter from 1961, that the viewers met Dino (voice by Daws Butler) when Fred and Barney tried to catch him for food.
Dino had his own series from Carlton running 20 issues from 1973-75.
